MARANA, AZ (January 30, 2024) – Friday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Interstate 10 near Cortaro Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:35 p.m. on Interstate 10 near the Cortaro Road Exit.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a westbound Ford Mustang struck a pedestrian and clipped another.

Moreover, responders pronounced a 15-year-old boy, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a 17-year-old boy to a hospital with a broken leg.
