1 Dead in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Ashlan Avenue and Valentine Avenue
FRESNO, CA (October 5, 2023) – Tuesday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Ashlan Avenue and Valentine Avenue killed 1 person.
The crash occurred at about 11:20 p.m. on Ashlan Avenue and Valentine Avenue.
According to reports, a dark-colored vehicle struck a woman walking westbound on the sidewalk and crossed the sidewalk from north to south.
After the crash, the vehicle fled the crash scene.
When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found a woman dead in the middle of the roadway.
The Fresno Police Department revealed that the woman is approximately 19 years old.
Meanwhile, officers are treating the incident as a hit-and-run and have hit-and-run detectives. Also, collision reconstruction units came to the scene.
Moreover, the other woman has been cooperative with law enforcement, but officers are waiting to get a full statement from her due to her state of distress.
