1 Dead in Arlington Pedestrian Accident on 1400 N Cooper Street

ARLINGTON, TX (April 7, 2024) – Last March 26th, a brutal pedestrian crash on 1400 N Cooper Street led to the death of a 44-year-old man.

The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of N Cooper Street in Arlington.

According to reports, the man stopped in the roadway in front of a Toyota Sequoia that was driving north on Cooper Street. As a result, the man was struck by the Toyota.

Then, responders took the patient to an area hospital where he was declared dead this week. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office hasn’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.

The driver of the Sequoia involved in the incident stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to police. Currently, no charges are being filed against this individual. The reason for the Sequoia driver’s decision to stop on the roadway remains unclear.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
