2 People Dead in El Centro Multi-Vehicle Accident on First and Main Street

EL CENTRO, CA (February 6, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, a brutal multi-vehicle crash on First and Main Street killed two people.

The incident happened at around 1:40 p.m. at the intersection of First and Main Street.

According to the El Centro Police, the crash involved four vehicles, including two that were suspected to be involved in illegal street racing.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported another driver to El Centro Regional Medical Center where the patient was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers arrested and booked one of the drivers into Imperial County Jail, pending unknown charges.

Meanwhile, the incident closed Main Street for several hours but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
