1 Person Dead in Arlington Motorcycle Accident on Matlock Road and E Bardin Road

ARLINGTON, TX (November 14, 2023) – Saturday night, a brutal motorcycle crash on Matlock Road and E Bardin Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:44 p.m. at the intersection of Matlock Road and E Bardin Road.

According to the Arlington Police Department, a northbound motorcycle struck a 1999 Lexus ES 300 that was making a left turn from the southbound lanes of Matlock Road to the eastbound lanes of E Bardin Road. Then, the force of the crash ejected the motorcyclist who was not wearing a helmet, into the roadway.

As a result, responders pronounced the 65-year-old male motorcyclist, dead at the scene.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the Lexus driver remained at the scene and was not facing any criminal charges.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Arlington Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
