LOS ANGELES, CA (June 12, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a brutal motorcycle crash near Washington Boulevard and Alameda Street.

The incident happened at 5:17 a.m. near Washington Boulevard and Alameda Street, just south of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.

A motorcyclist died after colliding with a DASH bus, according to initial reports. Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded, but the rider had sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other individuals required medical treatment or transport.

The victim was a man believed to be in his mid-30s. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Division is investigating the crash.
