KANSAS CITY, MO (April 29, 2025) – Monday, a person died in a brutal hit-and-run crash on the westbound 210 Freeway.

The incident happened as a pedestrian stood/walked on the left shoulder of the westbound 210 Freeway.

The pedestrian was struck by an unidentified vehicle and thrown into the grassy center median. The vehicle fled the scene without stopping.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
