OAKLAND, CA (September 28, 2023) – Late Tuesday night, a brutal hit-and-run crash on International Boulevard and 54th Avenue killed 1 person.

The crash occurred at around 9:40 p.m. on International Boulevard and 54th Avenue. The authorities responded to a report of a crash between a pedestrian and two vehicles.

Reports revealed that as a pedestrian walked across International Boulevard, a vehicle struck and pushed the person farther into the road. Then, a second vehicle struck the victim.

As a result, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, reports confirmed that the first vehicle was disabled by the crash and its occupants escaped on foot. However, the authorities tracked the driver down and arrested them.
