LAS VEGAS, NV (June 21, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a brutal hit-and-run crash near Wellness Place and Galleria Drive killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 6:04 a.m. near Wellness Place and Galleria Drive, said Henderson Police.

According to a preliminary investigation, a white Dodge sedan traveled east on Wellness Place. However, as a 71-year-old man walked in the crosswalk of the private property, the Dodge hit him.

After the crash, the Dodge driver initially stopped but eventually fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

Meanwhile, responders took the victim to a hospital in critical condition. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
