1 Dead in Arlington Bicycle Accident on New York Avenue near Tarrant County College Southeast Campus
ARLINGTON, TX (June 17, 2023) – Sunday morning, a brutal electric bike crash on New York Avenue near Tarrant County College Southeast Campus killed 1 person.
The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. along New York Avenue near the Tarrant County College Southeast Campus.
According to reports, a pickup truck struck the 89-year-old male bicyclist as he crossed the road.
Then, responders transported him to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Moreover, the driver of the 18-wheeler was also transported to the hospital after the crash. Officers noted that the truck driver had stopped to help and report to 911.
