Brutal DUI Accident on Avenue K Kills Motorcyclist [Lancaster, CA]

Lancaster, CA (May 13, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a DUI accident on Avenue K killed a man riding a motorcycle rider.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the deadly accident happened around 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue K at Sixth Street East.

Reports say that a westbound Lincoln Zephyr made a left turn in front of an eastbound motorcycle rider. The collision resulted in the death of the motorcyclist.

CHP have not released details of the victim at this time.

Officials say that the driver of the Lincoln was discovered to have been driving impaired, officers arrested the driver for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

The Lancaster Sheriff Station is investigating the deadly DUI crash and urges witnesses to come forward by calling 661-948-8466.
