1 Dead in San Antonio Auto Accident on 2400 Northeast Loop 410

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 26, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash on 2400 Northeast Loop 410.

Reports said that the incident involving a North East Independent School District school bus happened at about 5:00 p.m. on 2400 Northeast Loop 410.

SAFD Public Information Officer Joe Arrington confirmed that a person inside a sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one on the school bus sustained injuries, according to SAFD.

MacArthur High School student Ariana Solis was exiting the bus when the crash occurred.

“It sounded like a bang, and then my ears canceled out, and then I turned to my left and saw it,” Solis recalled.

She explained that the school bus had stopped in the westbound lanes of North Loop 410 between Perrin Beitel and Starcrest Drive.

“I was just shocked,” Solis said.

The crash happened at her designated school bus stop. As she waved goodbye to the driver, the sedan collided with the back of the bus.

“I hope that guy’s family is OK,” Solis added. “I didn’t hear any speeding. It just crashed. That’s what I heard.”
