SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (January 2, 2025) – Tuesday night, a woman died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash near Century Boulevard and S Figueroa Street.

The incident involved two vehicles at 11:40 p.m. near Century Boulevard and South Figueroa Street.

When officers arrived, they learned that the woman had crashed her car and was walking away from it when another vehicle struck her, according to an LAPD spokesman speaking to City News Service.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
