Bruce Kirk of Smartsville Suffers Injuries in DUI Crash on Highway 20 [Nevada County, CA]

Bruce Kirk Injured, Autumn Nichols Arrested, in Nevada County DUI Crash

Nevada County, CA (August 28, 2021) – On Wednesday,  75-year-old Bruce Kirk of Smartsville, and a child, suffered injuries, while police arrested 37-year-old Autumn Nichols of Nevada City, in a DUI crash on Highway 20.

The accident happened in the evening near the Nevada County line. 

Officers said Nichols was eastbound near Wild Turkey Lane, with Kirk coming from the opposite way.

Kirk suffered moderate injuries. 

Meanwhile, the authorities arrested Nichols and charged her with felony DUI. Officers said she may also be charged with child endangerment.

The authorities did not say Nichols and the child’s exact condition. Also, Nichols’ relationship with the child was not known. They said the girl has a different last name from Nichols.
