Brittnie Lahue Dead Following Corning Car Accident on 5 Freeway

 
CORNING, CA (November 3, 2020) – On Monday morning, Brittnie Lahue, 33, died in a head-on crash happened on the 5 Freeway and Liberal Avenue near Corning.
 
According to reports, the CHP came to the fatal crash scene at about 5:53 a.m.
 
A driver traveling in the northbound lane drove across the southbound lane. Then, it crashed with a southbound semi-truck. The CHP confirmed that the crash occurred south of Liberal Avenue.
 
Furthermore, the CHP confirmed that the driver of the vehicle, Ms. Lahue, succumbed to her injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP shut down the slow lane of southbound 5 Freeway, south of Corning, for multiple hours.
 
Also, the incident caused a fire but the Corning Fire Department managed to immediately extinguish it.
 
By 12:15 p.m., the southbound lane on 5 Freeway began returning to normal.
 
The fatal head-on crash on 5 Freeway remains under investigation.
