Injuries Reported in Afternoon Crash on Highway 182 in Bridgeport

 
BRIDGEPORT, CA (April 24, 2019) – Two people were injured following a traffic collision Wednesday afternoon in Bridgeport.
 
The crash happened around 2:52 p.m. on Highway 182 near the Nevada State Line.
 
Two hatchback cars collided. As a result, both cars sustained major damage. Two occupants were also injured, one of them suffered an arm injury, CHP officials said.
 
Medical responders transported the patients to a local hospital for treatment. Towing services remove the damaged vehicles from the crash site.
 
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
