Passenger Transported in Second Street Fatal Crash
Long Beach, CA (August 2, 2024) – Brianna Chairez, 27, of Norwalk, was killed in a Studebaker Road collision early Thursday morning.
It was about 1:40 a.m. when the deadly crash happened on Second Street, south of Loynes Drive.
Troopers said a 2018 Honda Civic was speeding northbound on Studebaker Road when it crashed into a guardrail.
Responding officers declared the driver, Brianna Chairez, deceased at the scene.
The medical rescuers took the female passenger to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Officers are investigating if speed and alcohol were factors in the fatal crash.
