Victorville Man Arrested after DUI Hit-and-Run Accident on Ferndale Street and Tigertail Street

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 2, 2021) – Friday, a crash on Ferndale Street and Tigertail Street led to the arrest of Brian Sergio Moreno.
 
The incident occurred at around 2:17 p.m. on Ferndale Street and Tigertail Street.
 
According to reports, the crash involved a red Chevy Colorado and a First Student company bus. Moreover, 12 students enrolled in kinder to 6th grade occupied the bus.
 
“As I went to take a seat in the back of the bus next to the students I looked in the rear window of the bus and saw this man going extremely fast headed towards our bus,” bus monitor Wendy Villatoro said. “It sounded like a huge explosion. Truck parts went flying, dust, smoke or dirt was also flying and I got up and instantly checked on all the kids on the bus.”
 
Then, the driver continued driving without helping them. Meanwhile, a UPS driver followed the truck and spotted it parked near a house on Yosemite Street.
 
Eventually, the authorities arrested 29-year-old Brian Sergio Moreno of Victorville on Yosemite Street at 4:04 p.m. They cited him and released him at 8:15 a.m. the next day.
