SUSANVILLE, CA (October 9, 2022) – Friday morning, Brian Madison and two others suffered injuries in a three-car crash on State Route 139.
 
The incident happened at about 8:13 a.m. on State Route 139 and Termo Grasshopper Road.
 
According to reports, 59-year-old Brian Madison of Portland drove on State Route 139. Then, he let his car drive across the northbound traffic. Madison crossed in front of 68-year-old David East. As a result, a head-on crash occurred. Meanwhile, 73-year-old Linda Hancock was driving behind David East. However, she failed to stop and struck the back of East’s car.
 
After the crash, a helicopter transported Brian Madison to a medical center in Reno with chest pain and multiple cuts.
 
Meanwhile, responders took David East to Mercy Medical Center in Redding with multiple cuts and possible broken bones.
 
Moreover, they transported Hancock to Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville with a possible broken arm/wrist.
