Brian Crooks Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on Vivian Road Near West Service Road

 
MODESTO, CA (July 30, 2019) – A 25-year old man passed away in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Vivian Road near West Service Road last Tuesday.
 
According to reports, Brian K. Crooks died when a hit-and-run driver struck him along a rural road southwest of Modesto.
 
Authorities believe the Illinois resident was hit by a northbound 2003 to 2004 Infiniti G35 around 9:40 p.m. They also noted that several drivers thereafter struck the 25-year-old; however, these drivers were possibly unaware that they were running over a person.
 
In the investigation, authorities have surmised that the Infiniti might have sustained bumper, hood and windshield damage. Anyone with information leading to the crash should call the Modesto area office at 209-545-7440.
