BRENTWOOD, CA – Woman Killed in Car Crash on Highway 4 at Lone Tree Way

Early Morning Car Accident on Highway 4 in Brentwood Kills Pleasant Hill Woman

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (March 28, 2019) – A 45-year-old Pleasant Hill woman was killed after her car veered off the roadway early Saturday morning in Brentwood.
 
The fatal crash happened around 1:35 a.m. on the eastbound side of Highway 4 at Lone Tree Way on-ramp.
 
When officers arrived on the scene, the woman was lying in the roadway with fatal injuries. The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of her family members.
 
The second lane of the highway was closed until around 4:42 a.m. and a SigAlert was issued in the area.
 
Investigators are still determining whether the woman was speeding or whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
