41-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Another Rider on Mango Avenue in Fontana
FONTANA, CA (January 11, 2020) – A man died in a motorcycle crash late Saturday afternoon in Fontana.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Mango Avenue between Baseline Avenue and Wabash Avenue.
According to Fontana police, the man was riding his motorcycle when he collided with another rider. The impact left the man unconscious and unresponsive at the scene.
Arriving units rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office identified the victim as Brandon Garret Sancett , 41, of Angelus Oaks.
The other rider, a 30-year-old Fontana man, was uninjured in the crash.
Mango Avenue was closed to traffic while officers assessed the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
