21-Year-Old Motorcyclist in Fatal Crash on Arlington Blvd and Division St Intersection
RIVERSIDE, CA (January 2, 2018) – Brandon Limon, a 21-year-old motorcyclist, was involved in a fatal accident with a sedan. His red Yamaha bike collided with a grey 2014 Nissan Altima at the intersection of Arlington Boulevard and Division Street in Riverside.
The tragic accident took place on Tuesday evening at 5:51 PM. According to Sargeant Erich Feimer of the Riverside Police, the driver of the Nissan was a 61-year-old man from Moreno.
Traveling south on Division Street, the man came to a full stop at a posted stop sign. The driver then turned left across to the westbound lanes to head east on Arlington Boulevard. Limon was traveling west on Arlington when the sedan and bike collided with one another. Ambulances arrived on scene, but the young man had endured traumatic injuries and died shortly after the high impact accident, said Feimer.
The Moreno man suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Riverside Community Hospital for medical treatment. His identity has not yet been released to the public.
Authorities do not suspect that drugs or alcohol abuse were involved in the collision. Srgt. Feimer said the fatal motorcycle accident remains under investigation.
