Skylar Tremayne Involved in Fatal Accident on Lewis County Highway
NAPAVINE, WA (October 8, 2018) – On Monday evening, a man was struck and killed in a pedestrian collision on Highway 508. The deceased victim was later identified by the Lewis County Coroner’s Office as 38-year-old Brandon Ditmeyer. His place of residence was not immediately disclosed.
According to Washington State Patrol troopers, the accident took place on the Lewis County Highway around 7:20 PM. As per reports, Ditmeyer was walking westbound on the highway when he was hit by a green 2000 Toyota Tundra pickup truck.
The driver, identified as Skylar Tremayne, remained at the scene and cooperated with officials during their investigation. Ditmeyer sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
Tremayne is not currently facing charges, and state troopers are investigating to determine the cause of the crash and events leading up to it. No further information has been released to the public at this time.
