Branden Smith Killed in Rollover Crash on Gold Park Road [TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA]

19-Year-Old Passenger Dies after Car Overturns on Gold Park Road in Twentynine Palms

 
TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA (January 20, 2020) – A young man was killed following a rollover crash Monday night in Twentynine Palms.
 
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. on Gold Park Road.
 
According to reports, a Hyundai sedan was traveling northbound on Gold Park Road near Bedouin Avenue when the driver lost control. The car then hit a dirt berm and overturned.
 
As a result, the passenger in the front seat was ejected from the car. Paramedics rushed him to Hi-Desert Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
 
Authorities identified the victim as 19-year-old Branden Smith of Twentynine Palms.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
