Boy and Dog Killed in Accident on Martin Luther King Boulevard
Las Vegas, NV (December 03, 2021) – On Thursday, a boy in early teens and his dog both died in a pedestrian accident on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The fatal crash happened near Helen Avenue while the victim and his dog were crossing the boulevard.
Immediately, the emergency team rushed the boy to UMC Trauma in critical condition. Despite life saving efforts, he later succumbed to injuries.
Moreover, investigating officers said the boy and dog were walking outside of a crosswalk when a northbound silver van struck them.
Reports said the dog died at the accident scene.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The authorities do not consider speed or impairment are factors in the accident.
