5-Year-Old Child Struck by Car at 6th Avenue Southwest
BURIEN, WA (May 27, 2018) – A young boy was struck and injured in a pedestrian crash on Southwest 136th Street, on Sunday night.
The incident occurred shortly before 8:00 PM at the 600 block of Southwest 136th Street at the intersection with 6th Avenue Southwest, according to reports from the Sheriff’s Office. The boy, who was initially estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old, ran out into the street and was struck.
He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the Harborview Medical Center. His current condition was not immediately available. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. KCSO MARR Detectives responded and the road was closed for several hours during their investigation.
