Hemet Pedestrian Accident on Stetson Avenue

 
HEMET, CA (November 21, 2019) – A boy required an airlift after a pedestrian accident on Stetson Avenue on early Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Gilbert Street at approximately 4:15 PM.
 
Reports showed that a grey Nissan struck the boy while crossing the intersection with his friends.
 
The paramedics confirmed that the boy sustained a broken leg and other injuries. He appeared to be 10 to 13-years-old. He was conscious when officials airlifted him to an area trauma center for treatment. The driver of the car did not suffer injuries in the incident.
 
An investigation is ongoing.
