4 Vehicles Involved in Morning Crash on Bonita Road

 
BONITA, CA (March 23, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Bonita, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 8:40 a.m. at 3838 Bonita Road near the Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, four vehicles, including a brown Honda Accord, were involved. When officers arrived, all four vehicles were blocking the eastbound lanes with one injured patient.
 
The patient was transported by paramedics to Scripps Mercy Hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Preliminary reports revealed one of the drivers possibly fell asleep while behind the wheel, causing the collision.
 
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The crash is still under investigation.
