Driver Dies in Early Morning Crash at Waterman and Highland Avenues

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (December 22, 2019) – A man was killed in a traffic accident early Sunday morning at an intersection in San Bernardino.
 
The crash happened around 1:56 a.m. at Waterman Avenue and Highland Avenue.
 
According to authorities, a vehicle had crashed a light pole on the northeast corner of the intersection. As a result, the driver suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division identified the deceased as 34-year-old Bonifacio Cortes Bruno of San Bernardino.
 
Authorities said that speed or alcohol appear to be factors in the crash. An investigation is still ongoing.
