Fatal Vehicle Crash on Highway 544 Killed 21-Year-Old Man

 
Lynden, WA (September 28, 2020) – On Saturday, a 21-year-old Blaine man died in a car crash on Highway 544.
 
The fatal accident took place at about around 11:28 at Mile Post 1 in Lynden.
 
The victim was driving a 2014 Toyota Prius eastbound on Highway 544 when he drove off the roadway and crashed with a tree, said the release.
 
Moreover, the authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities withheld the man’s identity pending notification of next of kin. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. The authorities currently investigate the crash.
