Bladen Turnier of Fort Worth Injured in Deadly Crash on Highway 92 [Jones County, TX]

Jones County, TX (August 12, 2024) – 23-year-old Bladen Turnier of Fort Worth and 34-year-old Cody Dixon of Wichita Falls were injured in a fatal vehicle crash on Highway 92 Saturday morning.

It was about 9:20 a.m. when the fatal crash happened about 4 miles southwest of Stamford.

Troopers said a 2006 Ford truck driven by Dixon was eastbound on the highway and a 2024 Volkswagen driven by 21-year-old Madison Stouard of Wichita Fallas was following closely behind. 

A 2016 Chevrolet truck driven by Turnier was traveling west on the same freeway. 

Stouard attempted to overtake the Ford truck and collided head-on with the 2016 Chevrolet.

Sadly, the responding officers confirmed Madison Stouard dead at the crash scene.

Meanwhile, Turnier was taken to a hospital with non-incapacitating injuries and in stable condition. 

Dixon, on the other hand, was treated on the crash scene for non-incapacitating injury.

Texas DPS said the weather and road conditions were clear and dry during the accident. Also, officers said all three drivers were wearing seat belts.
