SAN DIMAS, CA (June 7, 2021) – Sunday night, a big rig overturned after a crash on 210 Freeway near San Dimas Avenue.
 
The incident happened at 5:36 p.m. on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near San Dimas Avenue.
 
According to reports, an eastbound big rig’s tire came loose. Then, the tire went across the center divider and hit a westbound big rig. As a result, the westbound big rig overturned.
 
The CHP confirmed that the overturned big rig was filled with hay. Also, the crash led to the closure of the westbound lanes.
 
The authorities confirmed that the driver of the overturned vehicle managed to get out. However, reports haven’t confirmed whether he needed medical aid.
 
As a result of the crash, the authorities issued a SigAlert at 5:44 p.m. and closed all westbound lanes on San Dimas Avenue.
 
Around 8:00 p.m., the HOV lane reopened while the fast lane reopened around 11:30 p.m.
 
By 1:17 a.m. Monday, they canceled the SigAlert.
