Big Rig Crash on Highway 167 Injures 4 People [Auburn, WA]

WSP Investigates 2-Vehicle DUI Collision on State Route 167

Auburn, WA (March 18, 2023) – On Friday afternoon, a big rig crash on Highway 167 sent 4 people to the hospital.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says that the 2-vehicle collision happened before 5 p.m. on the northbound lanes on State Route 167.

Reports say that a semi-truck collided with a pickup truck. The collision caused a blockage on the northbound lanes for several hours. 

WSDOT confirms 4 people were transported to the hospital. Meanwhile, officials arrested the semi-truck driver for suspicion of DUI, and was taken to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle DUI collision and have not released further details about the incident.
