Bicyclist Killed in San Jose Crash on East Brokaw and Highway 880

 
San Jose, CA (April 6, 2021)San Jose Police reported a vehicle crash on East Brokaw Road that left a bicyclist dead on late Monday afternoon.
 
The fatal incident took place on April 5, on East Brokaw Road and the Interstate 880 underpass, at about 4:26 p.m.
 
According to the report, the man was riding a bicycle across East Brokaw Road when a vehicle struck him. Emergency officials transported the man to the hospital; however, he later died.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after hitting the bicyclist. Police said that the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
 
Furthermore, due to the lack of details, it is unclear what events led up to the Highway 880 accident. Moreover, officers said that this is the 11th traffic-related fatality in San Jose.
