1 Hospitalized after Sparks Bicycle Accident
SPARKS, NV (July 8, 2019) – A bicyclist sustained injuries after a hit-and-run driver struck him on O’Callaghan Drive on June 30.
A car struck a man riding his bike in the 1100 block of O’Callaghan Drive. However, the car fled the scene without reporting to the police.
Meanwhile, a witness saw a Toyota Corolla driving away from the crash scene.
The bicyclist suffered cuts, bruising and a head injury after being ejected from the bike.
Police did not release any additional information regarding the accident at this time. Authorities are asking anyone with any information on the case to call the Sparks Police Department at (775) 353-2231 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900. A $500 reward is being offered.
