1 Hospitalized after Santa Ana Bicycle Accident on Main Street

 
SANTA ANA, CA (October 15, 2019) – A bicyclist sustained injuries after a hit-and-run driver struck him on Main Street on October 13.
 
Authorities received reports of the crash on Main Street and Warner Avenue at around 5:20 a.m.
 
“The preliminary investigation has revealed the male bicyclist was headed north on Main through the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle headed west on Warner,” the statement from the police revealed. “The vehicle involved in this collision fled from the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.”
 
Upon the first responders’ arrival, they located the bicyclist lying in the road with head trauma. Responders took him to a hospital where he is listed in “extremely grave condition.” However, his identity remains unknown as of this time.
 
Meanwhile, officials believe that alcohol probably played a role in the crash.
