Motorcycle Fatally Struck Clovis Bicyclist Steven Meunier on Auberry Road

 
Fresno, CA (May 27, 2020)– On Sunday at noon, a motorcycle collision on Auberry Road killed a Clovis man riding a bicycle, Steven Meunier.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on May 24 along a popular Fresno County road.

Sgt. Mike Trenholm said that the collision took place just before noontime.
 
Moreover, it involved cyclist Steven Meunier. Reports said that the man was heading southbound on the right shoulder of Auberry behind him, was the motorcyclist at 55 mph.

The motorcyclist said that for unknown reasons, the cyclist suddenly made a U-turn that caused the collision between the two vehicles.

As a result, the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorcyclist was transported to Community Regional Medical Center after complaining of right arm pain.

Furthermore, the surrounding area in Auberry Road was closed off for a brief time as the investigation was conducted.
