Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on San Juan Road [Sacramento, CA]

Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Bicycle Collision near Garden Highway

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 21, 2019) – A bicyclist died in a suspected hit-and-run crash on San Juan Road on early Thursday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Garden Highway at approximately 6:00 PM.
 
Reports showed a white sedan swerved across the lanes before the incident. A bicyclist was found lying in the middle of the road afterward.
 
The bicyclist, described as a transient man of unknown age, suffered fatal injuries and pronounced deceased.
 
A witness at the scene did not directly see the collision. It was not clear whether that vehicle was directly involved in the crash or whether the bicyclist was already down in the roadway and the car was swerving to avoid him.
