Bicyclist Dies after Crash on Swift Avenue and Golden State Boulevard in Fresno

Fresno, CA (January 11, 2023)—On Wednesday night, a male bicyclist died in a crash on Swift Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.

The fatal crash in Fresno happened around 11 p.m. on January 11.

Fresno Police said a driver hit the bicyclist who was going northbound on Golden State Boulevard. 

Investigators said the driver left the scene and went home but later returned after noticing the damage to his car. The driver then called it in.

The bicyclist died at the scene. 

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
