1 Dead in San Diego Auto Crash on Moonstone Court

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 29, 2020) – On Saturday, a bicyclist died in an accident on Leucadia Boulevard and Moonstone Court.
 
According to Deputy Eric Rader of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred at around 11:49 a.m., at the intersection of Leucadia Boulevard and Moonstone Court.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle attempting to turn right from westbound Leucadia Boulevard to Moonstone Court struck a bicyclist.
 
A bystander helped and gave aid to the injured cyclist, Rader said.
 
Responders rushed the victim to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla where he was later pronounced dead.
 
The incident is under the department’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Teams investigation.
