North Wolfe Road and Interstate Highway 280 Hit-and-Run Crash Kills 1 Man
Cupertino, CA – A hit-and-run crash on North Wolfe Road and Interstate Highway 280 left 63-year-old Joseph Clifford Camarda III dead.
The fatal crash took place on August 16 at about 2:46 a.m, and reportedly involved a bicyclist.
Deputies arrived at the scene after receiving reports of a possible hit-and-run crash. At the scene, they Mr. Camarda unresponsive, lying on the road beside a moderately damaged bicycle.
According to the report, the man was already deceased when police arrived. He suffered a head injury as a result of the incident.
Sheriff’s official said medical personnel pronounced the man dead at 3 a.m. Later, the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office released his name.
Furthermore, it is still unclear what events led up to the fatal crash. The investigation remains on-going.
