Hit-and-Run Vehicle Hits Bicycle on Charleston Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 5, 2019) – A bicyclist sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Charleston Boulevard, Monday morning.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened near Buffalo Drive just after 6:01 AM. In addition, a white four-door vehicle collided with the victim.

The paramedics who responded to the scene reported that the bicyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The man who drove the vehicle stopped and remained at the scene briefly. He then left the scene. However, police last saw him eastbound on Charleston Boulevard.

Bicyclists and motorcyclists must always keep a safe distance from other vehicles when they are driving. Big vehicles, on the other hand, must pay attention and consider small vehicles like motorcycles and bicycles because these are more prone to road accidents than bigger vehicles.
