Bicyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Salinas Road [Monterey County, CA]

Monterey County, CA (April 11, 2025) – A bicyclist was injured following a hit-and-run crash on Salinas Road Wednesday afternoon.

According to the investigators, a bicyclist from Watsonville was making a left turn into a traffic lane when a black GMC Yukon traveling north struck them.

The bicyclist was sent onto the roadway and sustained moderate injuries.

Responding officers found the suspected driver of the Yukon and charged them with felony hit-and-run.

Alcohol or drugs did not play a role in this collision.
