1 Hospitalized in San Diego Traffic Accident on Lincoln Avenue near Hamilton Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 25, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a bicyclist suffered injuries in a crash on Lincoln Avenue near Hamilton Street.
According to San Diego Police Officer John Buttle, the incident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. Moreover, it happened on Lincoln Avenue between Hamilton and Arizona streets in the North Park neighborhood.
Also, the authorities confirmed that the crash involved a bicyclist and a pickup truck.
Reports revealed that a westbound bicyclist crashed into the side of a northbound 2014 GMC Sierra pickup as it crossed Lincoln Avenue.
Afterward, responders transported the 64-year-old male bicyclist to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim suffered a fractured right ankle in the crash.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old male driver of the pickup sustained no injuries in the incident.
The incident is under investigation.
