62-Year-Old Bicyclist Injured in Crash near Torrey Pines Road

 
LA JOLLA, CA (July 8, 2018) – on Sunday morning, a 62-year-old bicyclist was injured in a crash on La Jolla Shores Drive, near Torrey Pines Road. His identity and place of residence were not immediately released to the public.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred just after 10:00 AM on La Jolla Shores near Torrey Pines Road, on the western edge of the UC San Diego campus.
 
The bicyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. It was reported that he suffered broken ribs, a fractured clavicle, and a punctured lung. There is no update on his current medical condition at this time.
