Bicyclist Injured in Car Accident on San Gabriel Boulevard [San Gabriel, CA]

1 Hospitalized in Car and Bicycle Crash on San Gabriel Boulevard at Broadway

 
SAN GABRIEL, CA (June 23, 2018) – A rider sustained serious injuries after a bicycle and car accident on San Gabriel Boulevard, Saturday evening.
 
Police received a report about the collision at around 9:24 PM. The bicyclist was northbound on San Gabriel Boulevard and attempted to make a left turn to Broadway, when a car heading driving on San Gabriel Boulevard hit the bicyclist.
 
The female driver was not injured. She stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, while paramedics transported the bicyclist to a hospital. No further information about the incident was immediately released.
