SEATTLE, WA (July 2, 2019) – A bicyclist is in critical condition after a collision with a bus on Denny Way on June 28.

The collision involving a bicyclist and a bus occurred around 7:35 p.m. on Denny Way and Stewart Street. However, police did not release many details regarding the accident.

According to Seattle Police, responders transported the rider to Harborview Medical Center after the collision. However, a hospital spokesperson revealed Friday evening that the rider is in serious condition.

Authorities shut down the streets during investigation. In addition, the Seattle Department of Transportation said there were “significant backups” on Denny Way.
