Injuries Reported in Oldham County Traffic Accident on Highway 385 near Boys Ranch

OLDHAM COUNTY, TX (June 21, 2023) – Monday morning, Bernard Sneller died in a horrific two-vehicle crash on Highway 385.

The incident happened at around 10:20 a.m. on Highway 385 near Boys Ranch.

According to reports, a big rig rear-ended another big rig that was stopped at a red light. Then, the force of the crash pushed the second big rig to strike a pickup truck that was also stopped at the red light.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the first big rig, 83-year-old Sneller, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported six occupants of the pickup truck, including a three-year-old, six-year-old, and sixteen-year-old, to Amarillo with minor injuries.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
