BELLFLOWER, CA – Woman Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 91 Freeway at Bellflower Boulevard

Major Injuries Sustained in Afternoon 4-Vehicle Collision on 91 Freeway in Bellflower

 
BELLFLOWER, CA (March 23, 2019) – A woman was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon in Bellflower.
 
The collision happened just after 1:00 p.m. on westbound 91 Freeway. First responders arrived to the area near Bellflower Boulevard shortly after.
 
According to the CHP, a red Kia Forte, a white Mercedes SUV, a silver Toyota Corolla and a Honda Civic were involved.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department and paramedics responded to the scene due to needed medical attention. While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, major injuries were sustained as a result of the impact.
 
An unidentified female victim was transported to a nearby hospital due to the extent of her injuries. On scene authorities said she was suffering from a possible broken leg. No update on the other victims involved have been released.
 
The identity and condition of the patient were not immediately known. More details will eventually be released once available.
 
It is currently unclear if alcohol, drugs or medical conditions were contributing factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
